Spencer J. Player

Spencer was born in Greenville to Hugh and Cyndi Player, grew up going to Second Presbyterian Church, and does not remember a time when he was not saved. Spencer grew up playing piano as well as cello. He was home schooled through 11 th grade and attended the Greenville Tech Charter High School for his senior year of high school. Spencer also attended the Fine Arts Center in Greenville for two years studying Cello in Chamber Strings. After high school, Spencer attended Greenville Technical College for two years and then transferred to Clemson University for the remainder of his Mechanical Engineering degree. While still in college, Spencer met his wife Maria at Second Presbyterian Church. After graduating from Clemson, Spencer started working as an Assistant Engineer at NWS Technologies. Spencer and Maria were married in December 2011 and have been living in Duncan, SC since then. Maria works as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Medical Center in Powdersville, SC and is currently attending Western Governor’s University pursuing her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing.
