David Caldwell has been a member of Second Presbyterian Church since 2006. He has completed the Diaconate training classes in 2015 in hopes to answer God’s calling to serve him. As a member, David has occasionally assisted his wife in the nursery and Sunday school classes. He was born in Union, S.C., but relocated to Marion S.C. and then to Cheraw S.C. to accommodate his father’s new jobs. He began to know Jesus in middle school while attending afternoon prayer time in Cheraw, S.C. He moved back to Union S.C. in 1989. After meeting his wife and attending Second Presbyterian Church, the Lord began opening his eyes and ears more and more. He became a member shortly after his marriage. During his marriage the Lord blessed his family and gave to them twin boys and has called his oldest son to become a communing member. In 2009, David decided to further his career and return to finish his Bachelors in Computer Science. After he received his Bachelors at Limestone College, he has found a job as a computer programmer for Daimler Trucks North America. David is married to Hilary Player Caldwell and they have three sons: Dillon Caldwell and twins Hayden Caldwell and Ethan Caldwell.
